STARS BY THE SEA
Brighton is the home of the Walk of Fame being the first ever official walk outside of Hollywood. Having been launched and maintained by David Courtney this accolade to stars and personalities from in and around Brighton, with it's rich cultural history and abundance of public figures has been a resounding success. Original plans for the location of the Walk of Fame were based around the bustling Brighton beach. However the weathering of the stones by the sea and the potential damage by mischief makers did not make this a viable option. Similar reasons made the town centre less than ideal to house the Walk too. Brighton Marina, Brighton's premier leisure destination was therefore chosen as the perfect location.
