The Music Walk of Fame will be set in Camden Town which has a rich ‘Rock n Roll Tapestry’; since the introduction of The Electric Ballroom in 1978, hosting the first major Rock and Roll event in 1966 at the Roundhouse featuring Pink Floyd and the Soft Machine and subsequent events with artists such as Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Marc Bolan, The Move, Cream and Hawkwind. Camden Town was also the birthplace of Britpop with the likes of Blur, Pulp, Oasis, Suede, Radiohead and Supergrass all. Its musical reputation has attracted more than its fair share of media companies from record labels, like Creation, to the television giant MTV Europe and is renowned as the centre of London’s music scene.

The Music Walk of Fame will be a living, breathing cultural monument which will recognise the contribution of global music icons and influencers. It will honour the truly iconic, from global legends to influential contemporary artists and the unsung heroes whose ingenuity and passion have changed the face of popular culture.
