Winnie the Pooh and Tigger took time out from their hectic schedule of doing nothing in particular in Hundred Acre Wood to visit the seaside. The winsome pair, created by Sussex author AA Milne, were the stars at a launch for plans for a children's version of Brighton's Walk of Fame. The new walk at Drusillas Park, near alfriston, would display names of celebrities, academics and other notables to be chosen by children in national poll.
Julian Clarey, glamour model Jordan and Sussex cricketer Chris Adams are some of the most recent additions to the adult's Walk of Fame at Brighton Marina, where the launch was held. Winnie-the-pooh and Tigger will also be appearing at the Brighton Centre in April in the Disney Live! stage show about all the well-loved AA Milne Characters.
