CHILDREN’S WALK OF FAME
TO INDUCT SOME FAB KID’S STARS!


The Children’s Walk of Fame is delighted to announce the inductees for 2006! Voting has now finished and we can reveal that the following children’s stars will be appearing at Drusillas Park on August 22nd to receive their awards:

  • BBC’s Dick & Dom
  • Mark Speight – SMart presenter (CBBC)
  • Gemma Hunt – CBBC presenter
  • Lara Jones – ‘Poppy Cat’ author
  • Fifi & Bumble from Fifi & the Flowertots
  • SpongeBob SquarePants
  • Stuart Little

The 1st Birthday Party is being held at Drusillas Park, Alfriston, East Sussex on Tuesday 22nd August 2006. The awards ceremony day will be hosted by Dave Benson Phillips (Children’s TV Presenter ‘Get Your Own Back), who will have Peter Rabbit & Spot the Dog on hand to welcome everyone. The event will run from 12 – 4pm and promises to be a fantastic family day out with loads of kids’ entertainment including a magician, character appearances and all the usual Drusillas fun – animals, face painting, bouncy castle…

The unique Children’s Walk of Fame walk located right here in Sussex honours children’s stars via a nationwide vote. Last year saw the induction of The Cheeky Girls, children’s TV presenters Chris Packham and Dave Benson Phillips, Peter Rabbit, Sooty, Postman Pat, BBC’s Tracey Beaker, Pudsey Bear and Drusillas’ Meerkats
