The Children’s Walk of Fame’s beneficiary charity for 2006 is The Variety Club Children’s Charity. Stephen Crown, Chairman of Fundraising, The Variety Club Children’s Charity commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be the beneficiary charity for the Children’s Walk of Fame and think it is a great idea. Some amazing stars and characters have been voted in by children and their families this year and all for our worthy cause. We hope the event continues to be a great success!”

The unique Children’s Walk of Fame walk located in Sussex honours children’s stars via a nationwide vote. Last year saw the induction of The Cheeky Girls, children’s TV presenters Chris Packham and Dave Benson Phillips, Peter Rabbit, Sooty, Postman Pat, BBC’s Tracey Beaker, and Pudsey Bear.
